After years of running catering operations for major brands, festivals, corporate events, sporting venues and thousands of hungry customers across the UK, I've decided to launch a completely different challenge.
No corporate contracts.
No guaranteed revenue.
No pre-booked events.
Just burgers, a car park, and one simple question:
Can I build a £10,000 per month burger business from a car park in Peterborough?
And the best part?
I'm documenting every single step on YouTube.
Why Am I Doing This?
For years people have asked me:
"How much money can you really make selling street food?"
"Is it worth buying a food trailer?"
"Can somebody start a food business without a restaurant?"
"What does a typical trading day actually look like?"
Instead of talking about it, I decided to show it.
This isn't a polished business plan written in an office.
This is real life.
Real customers.
Real costs.
Real profits.
And probably a few mistakes along the way.
The goal is simple:
Generate £10,000 per month in burger sales while trading only on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The First Big Win
Before serving a single burger, there was one important hurdle.
Getting permission to trade.
I'm pleased to say that MODA FOOD has now officially obtained a Street Trading Licence from Peterborough City Council.
The licensing process was straightforward, professional and incredibly helpful throughout. The team made the process clear and efficient, which allowed us to focus on getting ready for launch.
A huge thank you to the licensing department for their support.
Now the real work begins.

Lynch Wood is one of Peterborough's most established business destinations, home to thousands of office workers and businesses. The area attracts a significant daytime workforce and offers a fantastic opportunity for quality street food during lunch hours. (lynchwood-park.co.uk)
The challenge now is simple:
Can we convince busy professionals to choose a freshly cooked smashed burger over their usual lunch option?
Why Burgers?
Because burgers are one of the most competitive foods in the world.
Everybody sells them.
Everybody thinks they make a good one.
But not everybody obsesses over quality.
At MODA FOOD, we're focusing on:
Freshly smashed beef patties
Quality brioche buns
Proper sauces
Great ingredients
Consistent execution
Simple food.
Done exceptionally well.
Our existing menu already includes popular smashed beef burgers, and now it's time to see if that concept can become a standalone business challenge.
